Rachel and her grandfather were walking in the park. Rachel asks him, "Zaydie, who do trees have leaves?" Zaydie says, "What am I a botanist? How should I know?" A little while later, they see some birds eating worms. "Zaydie," Rachel asks, "why do birds eat worms?" "What am I, the Birdman of Alcatraz?" Soon, they see a woman walking her dog. "Zaydie, why is that dog walking sideways?" "If I know why that dog walks sideways, I'd be the veterinarian," replies Zaydie. In a bit, Rachel asks "Zaydie, can I ask you another question?" "of course," says Zaydie, "how else are you going to learn anything?"
